DEPUTY MANAGER | £25,000 P.A.

We’re currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join our friendly team, supporting our Manager in providing the highest level of residential care for our residents.

As our Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting our Manager in providing a home for our residents which promotes a caring environment through high standards of professional practice.

You’ll also stand-in for the Manager in their absence; deputising to ensure management cover is provided over a 7 day period. In addition to ensuring the personal care needs of residents in they are met a way which promotes dignity, privacy, safety and independence, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing our team, and assisting the Manager in the appraisal, supervision and assignment of staff.

Candidates must have at least 1 years’ experience in the management of people, and a SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care Award or equivalent. An SVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care and Management Award, or a willingness to work towards this on completion of a successful probationary period, would be beneficial. A satisfactory DBS check also applies to this position.

This position is for 40 hours per week and the successful candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required, with on-call responsibilities.

SENIOR CARER | COMPETITIVE PAY

We're currently seeking to recruit experienced, friendly Senior Carers to join their wonderful team.

Hutton Park is built on the philosophy of upholding dignity, respecting independence and promoting life enrichment to each of our residents, which allows them to create a real and familiar sense of home.

Your main responsibilities will be in the supervision and assistance of Care Assistants in providing personal care to the residents and attending to their daily needs, as well as ensuring that a high standard of care is delivered to each resident. You will also play a key part in building relationships between staff and residents and administering medicines as required, in accordance with policies and procedures.

Applicants are required to have an SVQ 3, medication administration training and previous experience within an elderly care environment. Satisfactory Enhanced DBS checks apply to this role.

CARE ASSISTANTS | COMPETITIVE PAY

We're currently seeking to recruit friendly Care Assistants to join their wonderful team.

Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for each resident, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of people you are looking after.

Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and a willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes would be ideal. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a team. An NVQ in care is not necessary for this post, however would be an advantage. Satisfactory Enhanced DBS checks apply to this role.
